The Province of Alberta will be implementing changes to all Provincial Permit Agents (TRAVIS Agents) effective September 1, 2008. At that time, the processing time for Roadata to obtain any Provincial overweight permit will increase for any permit that is required in conjunction with a municipal approval for an RDS partnered municipalities. We will continue to arrange for the Provincial permit to best validate loads and configurations for municipalities and to retain the "One Stop" service for our industry clients.
As many of you are also aware of, the TRAVIS permit system all agents use to obtain Alberta Provincial permits has added a mapping component and permits now take 2 to 4 times longer to obtain.
