Alberta Transportation has introduced the provincial wide permitting system known as (TRAVIS MJ) Transportation Routing and Vehicle Information System Multi Jurisdictional. The new program provides a one window web-based system to apply for a permit across all Municipalities in Alberta. The single permit will encompass Provincial and participating Municipalities; including Rural, Cities, Towns, Villages, and Hamlets. (It is anticipated that all Municipalities will be participating in the program by early 2012.)
