Vehicles exceeding legal weights or with a gross vehicle weight of 60,000 KGS or more require an overweight permit when travelling on Provincial roadways in Manitoba. If travelling in the City of Brandon or the City of Winnipeg, vehicles exceeding legal weights or with a gross vehicle of 56,500 KGS or greater must obtain an overweight permit.
